This policy explains what Peak Social LLC, trading as Lucky Tails, does with your personal information when you visit or buy from this store.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and the contents of your order. Card details are entered directly into Shopify's checkout and its payment processors — we never see or store your full card number.
When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This comes from cookies and similar technologies used by Shopify and our analytics providers.
When you contact us: whatever you choose to put in the message, plus your name and email.
Why we use it
To take payment, ship your order, send order and delivery notifications, answer your questions, handle refunds, prevent fraud, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and — only if you have asked for it — send marketing email.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, improving the store, service messages), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and consent (marketing email and non-essential cookies).
Who we share it with
Shopify, which hosts this store and processes checkout. Payment processors. Our fulfilment and shipping carriers, who receive only what they need to deliver the parcel. Email and analytics providers. Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by California law.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records for seven years, because tax law requires it. Support correspondence for three years. Marketing subscriber records until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake. Analytics data in aggregated, non-identifying form.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data there and elsewhere. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or the EEA, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent at any time, and ask for your data in a portable format. If you are in the UK or the EEA you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and can be refused through your browser or any cookie banner shown to you.
Children
This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
